Stay overnight at the beautiful Murray Falls between Tully and Cardwell about 20kms west of the Bruce Highway. Travel through Murray Upper and the village of Jumbun. Once at the falls a walking track (1.8km return) takes you to the top of the 30 metre high falls where you gain spectacular views of the Murray Valley. A 300m river boardwalk is wheelchair accessible for most of the walk and provides a safe way to view and photograph the falls. Obey the signs and stay on the boardwalk as the slippery rocks have been the cause of deaths and serious injuries to those who ignored the warnings.
Facilities include BBQs, showers, toilets, picnic tables, and swimming. On site registration or pre-registration available for camping.
