Cr Joe Galeano, Mayor of Cardwell Shire Council, expressed his disappointment today in reading a recent media article in which a small group of people, mostly from Herberton Shire, saw it necessary to start a petition with the sole purpose of attacking the Council on the closure of the Kirrama Range Road, especially when Council provided a full explanation as to why it was necessary to take this action.
